Challenge Link-Up Post: Classic by a Woman Author

Please link your reviews for your Classic by a Woman Author here.  This is only for the Classic by a Woman Author category.  If you do not have a blog, or somewhere public on the internet where you post book reviews, please write your mini-review/thoughts in the comments section. If you like, you can include the name of your blog and/or the title of the book in your link, like this: "Karen K. @ Books and Chocolate (Jane Eyre)."

  1. This is the first classic. I'm ready for #2, but not until after I've read my 5th book this year. Like you, I am a voracious reader, true, but I tend to steer into odd waters.

  3. The Feminine Mystique was an interesting one for me. So much has changed since it was written, but other things remain the same.

  4. Just finished my first book/review for the challenge "North and South" by Elizabeth Gaskell. I don't think it will become a favorite, but I am glad to have read it.

  6. Jane of Lantern Hill was such a treat--I'm expecting to read other classics by women this year, but this was a lovely way to start.
